Terms of Service

By downloading or using Pawpack, you agree to these Terms of Service provided by Kasseling LLC. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Using Pawpack

Pawpack is a tool designed to help you organize and log pet care activities within your "Pack."

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your credentials.
• No Medical Advice: Pawpack is a tracking and organizational tool only. The content provided within the app does not constitute veterinary, medical, or professional health advice for your pets. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns.

2. User Content & Collaboration

You retain ownership of the data you log in the app. However, Pawpack is built on the concept of "Packs" (collaborative groups).

• Shared Access: By joining a Pack or inviting others to yours, you grant those specific members permission to view, edit, and interact with the data you contribute.
• Data Persistence in Packs: To ensure the safety and continuity of pet care, you agree that factual logs and activity entries (e.g., feeding times, medication logs) are contributed to the Pack as a whole. As detailed in Section 4, these logs remain part of the Pack’s history even if you personally leave the Pack or delete your account.

3. Privacy & Data Handling

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data, our use of third-party providers like Neon DB and Firebase, and your rights under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscription & Billing

Pawpack offers an optional Premium subscription managed via RevenueCat.

• Payments: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Account Settings.

5. Termination & Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, including abusive behavior toward other Pack members.

• Effect of Deletion: You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account.
• Anonymization: Upon deletion, your personal information (email, name) will be removed from our active databases. However, in accordance with Section 2, any pet care logs you created will be anonymized and retained within your Pack to ensure the pet's care history remains intact for other members.

6. Limitation of Liability

Pawpack is provided "as is" and "as available." Kasseling LLC is not liable for any issues arising from:

• Technical malfunctions, including missed push notifications or reminders.
• Inaccurate data logged by you or other Pack members.
• Disputes or disagreements between Pack members regarding pet care.
• Any health outcomes resulting from the use or misuse of the app’s tracking features.
